Getting To Know RoboWars - The Page Layout

The RoboWars layout is simple and easy to get used to, the best thing about it is that you can quick and easily jump from any where in RoboWars to another area in RoboWars. There are 3 parts to every page, the header, the nav panel, and the contents of the page.

The Header

This is the game header. It also contains your terrain view, which enables you to find an endless amount of items. When you play the game, keep an eye for something sparkling in the top graphic (as demonstrated). Click this little sparkle to pick up the item that you have found. Keep in mind that the sparkle will blink every 5 seconds.

Game Objects

You can find endless amounts of game objects. You might come across a missing wallet in the terrain worth over $1,000 or a ball of lint only worth $1. The items have no meaning other than to collect and / or pawn for currency.

Robotica Gems

You can find up to a total of 150 gems in Robotica. These games will eventually add additional attributes to your character. In the meantime, when all 150 are collected, an achievement is unlocked. There are common gems and gems that are very rare. Visit your gem inventory to determine its rarity. (Green = common , Red = Rare)

The Nav Panel

Next you will notice running down the right hand side of the page is what we call the Nav panel, or navigation panel. As you can see from the picture below it lists all the different areas of RoboWars, starting at the top with 'Bunker' working its way down to 'Squad Zone'. In RoboWars feel free to click as many of these as you like now, to explore RoboWars and see what each area contains. When you are done exploring, or if you chose not to explore, click the top option 'Bunker'.

You are now at the bunker, but wait isn't this where you started? Yes it is, the bunker is like your home to your Robot it lists a lot of useful information about your Robot, and it is the first page you see when you log into the game.

The Contents

The contents differ from page to page, but it is always in the same place, below the header, and to the left of the Nav Panel. Since we are at the bunker we have added a picture of the contents of the bunker page, it should look very similar to the bunker page you saw in your account.

A lot of the information shown on the bunker we will explain later, but we will however point out a few key features. At the top it tells you where you are in the Robotica City, this title is displayed on every page of RoboWars. Below that is the most recent news about RoboWars and its development. Below that still is a picture of a Robot, that is your Robot! And next to your Robot are some additional options and your current statistics. Don't worry, we are just showing you around and we will explain what all these mean in the coming pages.
