Like it's name suggests, the Battle Arena is where you go to find other Robots to battle. You will notice when you go to the battle Arena a list of different Robot Names, there Level, Health, Rank and Squad. All the people on this first list you can freely attack, as they are within your Battle Range.

Battle Range

Your battle range includes anyone above you in level, as well as anyone within 15 levels below your current level when your below level 100 and 30 levels below you when you are over level 100. There is a special except for those above level 170, whilst they can still attack anyone within the normal Battle Range limits, once you are above level 170, you can attack anyone also above level 170. Example: If you are level 250, you can attack someone level 190, although they are 60 levels below you, and out of the normal Battle Range limits, because they are above level 170 they can be attacked.

Level

The Level of your opponent also plays a big part in who you choose to battle. It is common belief that someone below you in level is weaker than you, and someone above you in level is stronger. This is not always the case, especially if you are either above level 100, do not have the strongest weapons for your level, or if you or your opponent are not fully equipped with both weapons and armor.

Squad

Also listed in the Battle Arena is a column for Squad, this is another thing you have to take note of before battling. A red flag will be next to any member that is currently in a squad. By hovering your cursor over the flag, you can see what squad they are in. It is often not a good idea to attack someone of your own squad, unless you have permission. Also it is a good idea to check if your squad has any rival Squads that they want you to attack, because if it comes down to a choice between 2 people to attack, and one is in a rival squad of your own, the decision can be that much easier.

Donate

In the battle arena, the donation status icon is also displayed next to the squad icon. Be careful when picking these players to battle, because they most likely have the donation weapons and armor equipped.

Finding an Opponent

If you don't find an opponent first up when you go to the Battle Arena, you can do an advanced search for them. In the Battle Arena, towards the bottom of the page, there are 2 options to search for players. Either by level, or an exact name search. Each is used for it's own differet purposes.
